Keeping Ourselves Safe in a Natural Disaster
Keeping ourselves safe in a Natural Disaster on PhotoPeach
Portraits Using Technology
The learners in Room 9 learnt how to draw a portrait of themselves using the correct proportions.
We used sharpies to draw the features of our faces and followed the steps used on you tube to make sure each part was in the correct place. We found out that our ears lined up to the tops of our eyes down to the corner of our mouths! Mrs Balm helped us dye the background of our work so they could stand out and look even more amazing!.
Take a look at our portraits to see how close we were at drawing ourselves.
WALT: Use apps on our ipads to create stories
As Part of our Whacky Wednesday we get to explore with the apps on our ipads.
Show Me is a program we can use to record ourselves telling a story, draw a picture to match and even insert a photo that we can take with the ipad. We have just started to "have a go" in our learning time and can't wait to share some quality stories with our friends and family. Here is Jeremiah having a go at making up a story about where he lives and the people in his family.
