What have we been learning?

Te Pihinga have been learning all about themselves as learners.  We are developing Matea Ako in our classrooms.  This translates to "my learning needs".
We are developing our knowledge of how we learn best.  Some of the questions we have answered are:
1.  Do I like to sit, stand or kneel when I am learning?
2.  Do I need to have physical activity to be the best learner I can be?
3.  Do I like to read, write, draw or make things?
4.  Do I learn best with my friends, sensible learners, or by myself?
5.  How do I manage my behaviour so that I can be a "wise owl" learner?

Wise Owls mange themselves.  They listen to instructions, are ready to learn, think about their learning and strive to reach their learning goals.

Blurty frogs are learning to manage their behaviour,.  They need support to make the right choices.
